ok so after reading the QOTD it got me thinking - everyone knows my dad died 5 year ago - well i kept the shirt he died in (i know crazy) and ive never washed it because it smelled like him (i know even more crazy im not normally like that but i couldnt bring myself to wash it) i know i have it somewhere would it be morbid to sew a piece of that onto the inside of my dress or in my flowers as my something old????? im really not like this normally like i said but i dont know what made me keep it let alone not wash it

I'm all about being sentimental...however, I think for me that is a tad much.

Absolutely not morbid. And I think it is a great idea to sew it into your dress.
ETA; I'm sorry for your loss. I am a huge Daddy's girl and the thought of this breaks my heart.

I can put my two cents in because my Dad just died.
Please don't use the shirt he died in. Use a shirt he loved.
