I am finding the least expensive dresses that are halfway decent, advising them to get Payless shoes, and letting them decide if they want to get their hair and/or make-up done.

I am low on funds myself so I know how hard it can be. Plus 3 of them are out of town so theres travelling expenses as well. I gave those 3 girls an option to not be in it at all.

I'm asking my BMs to pick their own dresses - I've just asked that they wear black. . . but as far as the style goes, they can pick whatever they want . They're all professionals in their 30s and I know they'll all choose something lovely and appropriate. . . It's one less thing I have to think about and I'll get a nice surprise the day of my wedding when I see what they're wearing. Some of my family members think i'm crazy but I'd personally rather do it this way.
