I got thank you cards from my cousins wedding this past October. The thing is that she literally just wrote Love, and their names. Not even our names at the top?

I was planning on writing messages in my cards - I kind of thought I was supposed too?

i'm still waiting for a thank you for a wedding I attended in Aug 2010....

me too!!!! it was labor day weekend and still nothing!! its kinda petty but it really annoys me considering we flew out to they're wedding, paid for a hotel and rental car and still gave a generous gift

Just wait till you have to write yours. Etiquette says they have up until a year to send their TYs out.

ETA: I haven't sent mine out. They're done but my darling DH won't write out his side and I just plain refuse.

I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of thank you cards. I just read them and throw them out. Is that wrong? lol

ITA but i still wrote a personal note in every TY card... but i wouldnt be offended if i didnt get one that way...

i usually just stick the card on my fridge for a few weeks and throw it out anyway

i know i feel bad complaining and i know people get busy to write thank you's i guess it just bugs me because im such a stickler for that kinda stuff i had all 60 thank you's handwritten and in the mail a week after our engagement party. im just a stickler for that kinda stuff.

Mine will have a picture and a preprinted message, with our names preprinted on the bottom. I plan on writing the guests' names on the top, but I'm not sure about a more personal message = it honestly depends on the relationship - bc I feel like people just toss them out and never even read them.

I would be annoyed

I had my thank you cards to people two days after the e-party

and within 2 wks of the b-shower ( and i thought i was really late on those)

I wrote different messages on everyone card, cause I feared people may compare LOLOLOLOL

yeah.. im a sicko... but a card like you got would make me feel slighted
