There really aren't any bad parts of East Islip....especially south of sunrise....
In East Islip you have Great River, The Moorings,Deer Run, Quale Run, Country Village, Persey Williams..These are all exclusive developments...I know alot of people trying to buy a house in East Islip..and alot of teachers trying to get a job in the East Islip school district...West Islip also....
East Islip is not a huge town,,but I love it...

The houses in Great River are beautiful..and it is East Islip School District..
As far as Islip terrace,,it depends how North you go. Still nice..but if you go really North down Connetquot Avenue, then you will be closer to CI and some parts if Islip Terrace are CI school district..

I grew up in Smithtown and now live in Islandia. I love it over here. The houses are prices affordibly. The one thing is the school district. I hear once kids get to the High Schh=ool it gets a bit rough, but before that the school is suppossed to be really good. If I can help with any other questions let me know. I really love it!
