Isn't this suppose to be fun!?

Original post by Hellosailor11

Im picking places to look at based on price and not on what i love. It's no surprise, I am not excited to go to my appointments.

Any advice

The dance floor at the Woodlands looks small but it's not too small. We had 220 people at our wedding and I'd estimate at least half were dancing at all times but I never felt like it was too crowded. It was definitely crowded but not too crowded, it was more like fun-crowded. Woodlands is under your price before tax and gratuity for a Saturday night wedding up to and including Memorial Day and after September (at least it was a year ago).

All of these places will work with you to get the number down. If you have a large wedding and can guarantee a certain number that will bring the price down too. Don't be afraid to ask. Also keep in mind what's included in that price. Some places include way more in the base price than others so if you are hearing one price that's low you should be careful that you won't have add-ons to worry about later.

Have you looked at Giorgio's? They have beautiful grounds and are even renovating to make them nicer. If you get married in the Fall...you could probably get the price within your budget on friday night
