Rome, Florence (Tuscany), and Venice - for 10 days this summer (not august).

Of those 3, the only place I've been to is Rome, and that was for a very short time about 5 years ago.

So tell me guys - I know many went there on their honeymoons- what are the best places to eat? Best things to see? Anyone have any 'MUST SEE's?

Also, we're staying at
Hotel Cosmopolita - Rome
Hotel Baglione- Florence
San Marco Palace- Venice

Any feedback?!

Rome...MUST SEE: collisium, Roman Forum, Vatican City, St. Peters, Pantheon (my fav), the wedding cake

Florence: Best place to buy gold and jewelry. Just walk around FLorence is fabulous. The olive trees the vineyards...

Venice..St. Marks square, Bridge of Sighs, Murano Glass factory, the gondolas ....Venice is BEAUTIFUL at night...to walk around and take in the atmosphere.

Bring a outlet converter!

I have long forgotten where i ate in Italy. But the food was best, imo, in southern italy.

Shorty you are going to have AN AMAZING TIME!!!

I went to Italy with my girlfriends about 5 years ago and it was one of my best vacations ever ...

Red gave you some great suggestions, Venice is actually my absolute FAVORITE city that I visited (we did Rome, Milan, Florenze and Venice at the time) and I could have stayed in Venice forever...

I have to do a little reserach but I could swear I stayed at the same hotel in VEnice you are staying.. I'm going to track down one of my friends and ask

We did a tour, so I am totally blank as to where we ate .. its been awhile.. but drink wine, eat gelato, just embrace the culture because its just an amazing country with fabulous people!
