Its going to shower today!

It is going to shower today! But the surprise is ruined.

I am an Admin Assistant at my office and while the receptionist was away at lunch the delivery boy arrived early with the cake and I had to sign for it. Well I thought it was a meeting lunch so I go to look at the receipt and it says

'Congratulations on your wedding! '

I am bummed that it is not a surprise but I am still happy that the company is at least doing this for me.

awwwh that's sweet! Good for you!!

I'm an admin assistant too. My last day at my job is this Friday b/c FH and I are moving to PA. It would be nice if my office would do something for me, but I doubt it.

Re: Its going to shower today!

Ok, well the party is over but the cake was delicious!
It had chocolate pudding inside and and have to push aside my no carbs diet for a slice. It was so good!

Everyone was very sweet and the entire staff chipped in and gave me a gift card to Macy's for $220 (this will be going to our Cuisinart mixer!)

A separate team within the company whom I am always helping out with misc. projects gave me a bottle of Merlot and a $100 American Express Gift Card.

I am so happy! I never even expected this!
