Jean M. Invitation Samples Info

A lot of people asked about the invitations I posted a few days ago (see pics below) from Jean M. Essentials (she just started selling them). I called today to order a sample and it's $5 per sample. They don't put the invitation together (or even write anything on it I think) but you get your choice of 4 paper colors and 4 ribbon colors (you can mix it up between grossgrain and satin).

For the paper, I ordered pink, black, white, and platinum. For the ribbon, I ordered pink satin and grossgrain and black satin and grossgrain. The sample comes with the 'ooh-la-lah' (??) envelope which I got in princess pink. I figured I'll just put the paper together to get the same layered effect as in the pictures.

I'll keep you all posted on the paper quality (which the rep said is very high). Unfortunately, engraving is not an option (I'd been toying with this idea because I've lost all concept of a budget for some reason).

As far as pricing, you can order the enclosure cards and RSVP cards (can someone tell me the difference between the 2? I'm invite-disabled) separately. For the invites below, 100 of the enclosures are $54 and the RSVPS are $63.

I like those. Not sure if they are in my budget. Was wondering... do they come in light/baby blue (paper), silver, white combo?

I think enclosure cards contain the information about the reception and the rsvp is what guests send back. Some say if you are having ceremony/reception at the same place you can save on the enclosure card and just write 'Reception immediately following' on the bottom of invite.

Oh good, please let us know!! I really like them but I'm not sure about the paper quality, etc.

Thanks for the 'enclosures' answer! Since we're doing everything in the same place, hopefully we can cut those out. I don't know if this is expensive or not, but for 100 invites, it's $395 which includes printing. They definitely have the color combo you're looking for. Here's the website: Jean M.

I keep looking at the site..I LOVE these invites so much..these are the ones I like..

I think Im going to try and sell my pocketfold invites on e-bay and buy these! I cannot believe I'm STILL deciding on invites!

Ya know, I think that price is just for the prinintg and invite..then have to purchase the rsvp's and envelopes...hmmm..could get pricey..

Aren't these invites the best? When I called, the woman was VERY helpful. The invitation ordering was a new thing for them too, so she had to check to answer a question or 2 but she was super nice.

I ordered the Jean M catalog, and just got it last week. It has a lot of cute things in it, but unfortunately no info on the invites!!

Ok..I called too to get an idea of the other invites pricing..its the same price for all the invites for the RSVP cards at $63 for 100 and what Jennie posted for the enclosure's...I did ask about envelopes...she said the outer envelopes come with the invite and the RSVP cards come with envelopes too.

I'm off to e-bay to try and sell my pocketfolds..I WANT Jean M invites!!!

p.s the girl I got on the phone sounded asleep or dead...I gave her the info and ...silence...I said you still there?...it was funny!
