Just went bridezilla at VS

Just went bridezilla at VS

So i was shopping for my b-pics, and I found a lot of really cute stuff.

One of the things i really LOVED was marked down on the sale rack. It was a 2 piece set and the bottom was missing, which i really didnt care about because it was clearly supposed to be just a black thong/panty.

I went up to the register and I asked the girl if there were any loose mismatches just figuring it couldnt hurt to check before i walked out with the other half.

The girl gave me such an attitude, AFTER she had already scanned it she said, ohh hmm we're probably not going to be able to sell it to you because we don't have the other piece

So i told her I didn't care about the other piece, I explained that I really needed it and they could write no return/final sale, whatever on the receipt, and she just shook her head at me. So i asked if there was a manager who could just sell it to me, final sale, as is, and she laughed at me and said Ohh, no I'm the manager, and we don't do final sales.

Then I said to her, so if i never would have asked you would have just sold it to me not knowing? and she said YES!

I threw all my **** on the counter and left.

I would have done the same thing! You are the customer and they should have done what they could have to help you and keep your business rather than telling you 'NO'. I would seriously consider calling their corporate office to complain about the poor service and the rudeness of the manager. Sorry she was so crappy to you!

I'd call the corporate office and complain!

Nothing will happen if you call the head office or corporate...VS stands by their employees to the end!!!

I work at VS and some girls that work there dont really understand what the policy is and why it is there, the reason why they cannot sell you the item is because technically when anything is ruined (in any way whether its ripped, smelly, missing pieces. discolored) we CANNOT sell the item. Here is why, the company feels that every item that is sold to s customer should be 100% perfect, they do not believe in selling 'ruined' merchandise, and if any customer ever mentions getting a discount on an item because it is tampered with our policy is that we cannot sell that item at all. This policy is only in place to deter people from purposely ruining merchandise looking for a discount. One time i told my manager i thought it was a stupid policy and she said, 'the company would rather throw out the item than to sell it to someone at a discount because its not 100% perfect). But dont take to heart what she said or did, a lot of times we deal with people returning and doing the dumbest things :( it makes me sad. Like people returning underwear from like 5 years prior. common really.

Even with the policy, I don't think she should have laughed at you and make you feel that way! She should have offered to help you fond something similar!

So I use to be a manager at VS and I would get most of the returns....I would pick up the dirty underwear with a ruler and lift it up so everyone can see and say 'is this the item you are returning'...lol works like magic

ITA, if she laughed at you i would totally call corporate on her that isn't right, as much as we have to obey the policy i definitely dont act like that to customers and it is part of our job to find other things to keep you all happy, BTW if you ladies ever need help or anything let me know! I have been working there about 6 years now I know everything there is to know VS lol :)

definitely reach out to VS corporate and make a complaint. that is horrible to treat a customer like that.

I know, it doesn't matter. By you bringing up that there was a panty missing from it, it got their attention and that's why they realized they couldnt sell it to you, so what she meant prolly was that if u didn't remind them that piece came with a panty you could have just bought it. They prolly forgot it came with one until u said it. The rule is stupid, but bottom line she shouldn't have been mean to you
