My aunt paid for mine. She asked my mom if she could buy it for me. My mom was with me when I picked the dress. My aunt doesn't was to see it until the day of the wedding.

My mom is paying for my dress tiara shoes!! the veil I am wearing hers from her wedding 32 years ago!!

This is what's happening with me.

My mom had the money saved in an account from my Baptism for the cost of my gown, I should have enough to pay for the veil and alterations with that money, along with the dress.

my parents! my mom went w/ me and isn't telling my dad how much it cost because it was so expensive. my mom's awesome!

Im paying for everything.

My parents have three kids (they adopted when I was 16) and don't have real jobs (both volunteer and make money translating)

To ask them for money would be insane. Especially to help pay for a new york wedding. So Im on my own.
