Last nights dinner:
1 Cheddarwurst sausage, 2 Gortons garlic and herb grilled fish fillets. (for frozen fish, they are darn good, 1g carb each) Green salad, w/good seasons dressing. Some peanuts, 1/2 slice texas toast

Dessert:
SF, FF Jello Vanilla Pudding w/cool whip
a few cherries

Right now I am having watermelon and an iced coffee w/H&H

(funny I can't drink hot coffee without 1/2 lb sugar, but iced coffee I don't need any sweetener)

Kate- you are doing so GOOD.. so far this morning I had a 1/2 cantelope.

Something funny is I can't drink hot coffee w. equal- only sugar.

Last night

Grilled sausage and peppers, small salad with ranch dressing

SF jello with a little whipped cream

This morning

Tuna with a WASA cracker
Diet A&W root beer

How many WASA's can we eat per day?

I know diet soda is not the best for me but I'm not a coffee drinker, I HATE water..lol. I have been trying to drink more of it though and avoid sodas with caffeine

Re: Kate- are you ready for low carb?

I've only been having 2-3 Wasa's per day, when I have them. But I'd prefer the whole box, so if Sassy gives the go ahead......

What is that Fruit 2 O stuff? I *think* I heard it is sweetened with splenda and is fruity, maybe that would be ok for you to drink.

Last night...

Small salad with Marie's Caesar dressing (less than one carb per tablespoon)
Low carb wrap (yummy!) with sliced chicken, lettuce and tomato

Then an Atkins bar when I got home from work b/c I was STARVING!

This morning...

Eggbeaters scrambled eggs
tea with Splendra and H&H

Michelle, did you ever try flavored selter? I used to be a soda and iced tea addict but now this is all I drink!
(I hate water too)

Hey- Tuna for breakfast- that's the spirit!!! I LOVE tuna.. I think I can eat it every day.

I try to eat no more than 2 wasa crackers a day- I find it's enough for the tuna or egg salad that I make...

You are doing AWESOME Michelle- you girls are my inspiration!!!

I know you guys hate water- but I PROMISE you if you drink 2 liters a day (at least) you will lose MORE weight.. I just CHUG it...

Dinner last night was cold cut roll-ups:
low-fat meats, low-fat cheeses (still the 0 carb ones- lite swiss..), Garlic cheese spread, mustard, and grilled red peppers

FH is very much the gourmet chef so he was laughing at how excited I was with cold cuts.....

Dessert sugar-free jello with a little whipped cream.

So far this morning: black coffee and string cheese

On water-- it really really makes a difference. I try to get in 3-4 liters a day-- but I LOVE water.

Does anyone know how much it too much???

Plus if you go down a flight of stairs each time you have to go to the bathroom you end up working your tushy more each day!!!

I think really you have to drink like 3 gallons a day to mess yourself up- it's VERY rare for this to happen.. especially now that it's summer.

You know I heard the same thing about too much water.

Maybe ten years and 25 lbs ago, I was trying this 'diet' where I would drink massive amounts of water. I'm thinking it was at least 200 oz, whatever that is. The weight was flying off! Even without watching what I was eating. Then someone told me that I was also washing away imp vitamins and stuff. So I stopped... Of course now, I don't get in nearly enough water.

Whats for lunch? I didn't prepare anything. just had a string cheese. had salad yesterday...hmmm

Sassy

I've only been eating 1 WASA a day, they are so good, glad I found them

Lisa,

I HATE HATE HATE water, can you tell I love black cherry flavored seltzer but they don't seel it in the stores around here and let's just say it doesn't travel well

Marcia,

The garlic chesse spread, is that the type you get in the refrigerated section in the supermarket or something 'Atkins'

We are doing the beach this weekend what foods would okay to bring.

As always a big thanks for everyone's encouragement

Re: Kate- are you ready for low carb?

hey Michelle how about Fried chicken for the beach? For the coating I use crushed BBQ flavor Pork Rinds! Finger lickin' good!

Re: Kate- are you ready for low carb?

Kate sounds yummy, believe it or not I hate eating at the beach, don't like sand in my food

Maybe I'll just cut up some 'legal' fruit

Re: Kate- are you ready for low carb?

I don't think you can 'wash' your nutrients away.... that sounds like an old wives tail...

In the Marines they make you drink SERIOUS amounts of water when you are on Paris Island and they don't croak! Like water until you are gonna puke!

I usually just eat fruit on the beach- I don't like to eat on the beach either... maybe cut up some cheese?

Salad Dressing Dilemna

Which one can I have..Asian Sesame Ginger or Feta Vinegarette

Just got lunch and got both dressings not sure which one is better
Sassyz75 Posted:

Re: Kate- are you ready for low carb?

Go for the Feta Vinaigarette I think.....

that would be better

Although the sesame is fine too...

For lunch I had tuna/egg combo salad, 2 wasa, 2 pieces watermelon, 10 cherries, 5 strawberies.
