If you can give your child one thing that you had or didn't have from your childhood, what would it be?

(it can be advice, a trip, a book, etc)

affection and i love yous ... not that my parents didnt love me THEY DID/DO but they werent the types to show it or say 'i love you' often.

i am going to totally smother my kids with hugs and kisses and i love yous

also - one thing i WONT pass on to my kids - my problems. i grew up feeling the weight and stress of my parents relationship, money issues, fights about whatever. i dont want my kids to ever be concerned or feel stressed about my situation.
