Kleinfelds...will it make me nuts?

Here's the deal...
i want to go to Kleinfeld's with Mom and FMIL on a sat soon...
I also want to go to Pricilla of Boston ...

is it too much to do in one day?
Basically does Kleinfeld's get crazy and is it too overwheming to do two places lik ethat in one day?

I should say that Pricilla has tons of things that I know i will love (based on their website)... so will I be burnt at two heavy hitters in one day?

opinions please!

Manhattan then Boston in one day?? Thats a lot to do.
I would do it on 2 days just so you don't feel overwhelmed and crazed.
There's also a Bridal Reflections in NYC, if your already in there you can always hit those 2 in one day if you really want to cover some more ground ya know?

if theres a specific POB dress that you are looking for or even a couple of them, you can call kleinfelds ahead of time to ask them if they have the sample of that dress, try to get the sample # of the dress just in case you do have specific ones you want. Kleinfelds does have the largest amount of samples than any other store, they have 1500 they always have in the store so hopefully they'll have what you want. If not then make an appt at POB too, i think you can definitely do both in one day, just dont do late appointments.

Yes, i loved them. It all depends on the sales person you get and thats the case at any place you go to. Some S*CK and some are great. I luckily had the nicest sweetest lady, was not a snob and even tried to convince me to spend a little less when i was deciding between 2 dresses so none of that about them wanting you to spend more. She even let me stay past the 90 mins but i think its also bc of the time i had which was about 4:30 and they closed at 6:30 so probably she didnt have an appt after me. They helped me alot and did even extra things they didnt have to do, i went with 5 people lol my mom, dad, moh, FMIL, and my moms best friend that is like family to me and closer to me than any family member. We all walked out of there and all they kept saying is OMG how amazing they were and how nice they were and what a great experience they had. Even FMIL was calling her friends to say how wonderful they are and that we have to send them a gift basket lol.

Hope you have the same luck and also have a great experience, no matter where you go.

I went with my FSIL and it was great. Such a girls day! We went 1st thing in the morning and it was great- not to crazy. Wasn't fun having to get up early, but was a lot of fun.

Every bride should do it! I'm waiting until closer to my wedding, but i'm definately going!

I think doing both on the same day will be a bit much for anyone.

I would suggest to do them on separate days.

I had an appt this past saturday at Kleinfelds in the morning and it was not as crazy as in the PM!

By the time my mom & I left around 11am the reception area was pretty full!

I don't think it will make you nuts at all, especially if you have dresses in mind. I already went to POB (long island) and fell in love with a dress. I figure it is going to be the one, but I want to go to Kleinfelds for the experience as well and to try on different designers. When I tried on POB dresses I almost wished I was going to another appointment to try on dresses to compare. I think the adrenal gets you going. I have an appt. on March 8th for Kleinfelds.

Get out! The apt that I was going to take was March 8th at Kleinfelds at 4 pm...would have bumped into you! But I decided on a day when I could visit both places and they only had 4 oclocks at each place on that day so its not going to happen that day...

I went to only POB and tried on about a dozen dresses and I was tired! It took about 2 hours and all the dresses I tried on were big heavy ballgowns. It's not easy getting in and out of those things! I also tried a couple more than once. I personally would do the 2 salons on seperate days.

Thank you so much! YOu know what I wnat to try on!! hehe ... I dont know now because I live out on the island and to bring Mom and FMIL in to the city on two differerent occasions so close together may be difficult... hmmm OY!
