Ladies!

So, you may or may not remember that a few months ago I posted at night about being very depressed, feeling like I had no friends, feeling isolated, etc. I think a lot of it had to do w/the fact that a few years ago I had a falling out w/some other girls, but that is neither here nor there. I remember that the post spawned like 15 pages of discussion from other girls who felt the same way! Anyhow, I was just sitting here thinking that I really no longer feel that way too often anymore. I guess I've made some sort of peace with the fact that having few friends is better than having tons of 'going-out' acquaintances. But I think a huge part of the reason is that I have YOU girls on here (the day shift and the night shift!) to either listen to venting, talk about wedding stuff, gossip, distract me from problems, etc. I really appreciate everyone and I feel like you really are friends!!!

Ok enough of that emotional stuff, now back to squirrels, dranks, and eggs.

My friend and i were just discussing this the other day.

I think that since some of us no longer go out and hang out much as we get older, we sorta lose ourselves.

She started looking up and talking to old friends on myspace and feels like herself again and not so depressed anymore.

Strange- the wonders of the internet.

BTW- Squirrels and dranks can pull anyone out of depression..lol

so glad to hear that!

That is such a sweet post and it is so true. Everyone so far has been real cool and always looking to share some advice and listen and to talk about absolutely nothing.

I feel the same way! I have very few friends (most are cousins anyway!)

And i love to come on here and vent and reply and just bs with all the 08 brides!!!!

I feel the same way. We tend to go in different paths, but that's okay.

That was a really sweet post.... i went through a depression once too... there was a group of 5 of us and i had a falling out with one, and well the rest all followed her. I took it really bad, but in the end realized that if they are choosing sides that they had nothing to do with, than they are not friends that i would want on my side.....

I feel like i can come to you girls and get some honest opinions, and also voice my opinions (regardless of any drama!)

yeah I don't have friends really. I have a few acquaintances that are really FH's friends but I don't know if I can call them real friends. I can deff count my friends on one hand and I'd still have fingers left.

I love chatting with you girls and bonding. I mean we vent to eachother about things we might not even tell people around us every day and thats pretty cool. sometimes we will talk about something on here and something i see or something that happens the next day will remind me of a LIW bride.

I swear I never heard the word 'lookey loo' until this week when I read a case in my TAX textbook LOL. (People were suing to take a deduction for decrease in property value because they bought a house right next to OJ and then... The opinion kept referring to lookey loos who were constantly swarming their street)

Very sweet post...very true.
I especially haven't been seeing my friends that much lately b/c I've been so busy but I do know they are always there.

I constantly have people walking by my desk so it's hard to read and post, read and post here at work.
