FH did have a female friend but they have now stopped talking, i didn't like her thought because she was always flirtatious. So that is one of the reasons why he stopped talking to her because he knew it used to piss me off.
I personally wouldnt mind fh having female friends that he was friends with before meeting me (he doesnt really have any though) but I would absolutely not want him getting 'friendly' with any new girls since I've met him.
I guess it depends on the situation. FH had plenty of girl friends before we started dating. Some he just played pool with or worked with or whatever. There was one that he seemed interested in before we were dating. I guess he didn't mind me knowing because he didn't realize it would go anywhere between us. When we started dating, I didn't feel comfortable with him still being friends with her. They talk every so often but only on facebook and stuff and that's fine. If they went to grab drinks alone together I'd probably be pretty uncomfortable.
