My FH & I were in our friends [at the time] wedding a year ago. Since the wedding I became distant with the FH's friends wife. But the FH still speaks with his friend on a regular basis. FH wants his friend as a groomsman but I don't want to put his wife in as a bridesmaid. Am I wrong to do that??

Not at all. You guys drifted apart. If I put everyone in my wedding who's weddings I have been in I would have approx 15 BMs.

I agree. If you girls aren't as close as you used to be it would not make sense to have her in the WP.

You definitely don't have to make her a BM if you don't want to. Actually none of my BM's and GM's are couples....

I just felt bad becuase I was in her wedding, but you guys are right, we drifted apart and I shouldn't have anyone in my WP that I don't want.
