Re: Lands End vs Flowerfield
I loved the elegant appearance of the ballroom. I added beautiful high centerpieces to add a touch of color. I guess its a matter of opinion...I am personally not into the marble and chandeleir look....guess thats what makes the world go round

Re: Lands End vs Flowerfield
Let me start by saying that both LE and FF are top notch. I didn't visit NRC so I can't comment on that one. The thing you really have to think about is better inside if it rains...it POURED on my wedding days and my pics still came out beautiful b/c FF and especially the atrium at FF was so amazing. Many of my guests still comment that it was the most beautiful wedding they ever went to,. but that also takes into account the flowers etc. Land's End is beautiful, I am going to a wedding there in a few weeks, but it didn't have the 'wow' factor for me that FF did. It may be different for you, everyone is different. I didn't like the fact that there were too many places for people to hang out in during the party and it was very important that everyone danced all night and had a blast. Nonetheless I would have gotten married at LE if FF didn't work out. They are both beautiful. I would make a list of pros and cons and that should help you with your decision. One thing is for sure - you will not be disappointed with the service or the food at either one of these places, Lovin Oven is top notch. And about the negotiating, you can DEFINITELY negotiate with this people. We got a good amount of stuff thrown in and also paid a decent price for Fri night...good luck with your decision and remember to do what's best for you and FH!
HTH and remember you can negotiate almost everything in the wedding process!

Re: Lands End vs Flowerfield
I got married at Land's End and my sister got married at FF. I was actually mad at my sister because I always wanted to get married at FF and she got married first and got married there, but I am so happy she did because i loved Land's End. They are both beautiful, but I think Land's End is a little more unique. It is like you are at a big beautiful house on the water. I have to say that many of the same people were at both weddings and my mother said she received more compliments about Land's End. Don't worry so much about the weather because if it is a little cool, they have heat lamps and if it rains, they have canopies over the decks. Lovin' Oven is amazing. The best food ever and the cakes are incredible. You can FM with any questions!! Good luck...you can't go wrong with either place!

Congrats!!! Yeah I love both places...i think it comes down to little preferences...I reallt liike the ballroom at FF...i know some people this its plain but i think its like a tent...plus when its all decorated and everything its beautiful...on the other hand you have those big expansive ceilings and beautiful views at LE...its really hard....i think we're gonna toss a coin!
