Hey - Ladies:
Another Latina here (Dominican)
Any suggestions on good Merengues that will put the Dance floor busy for Latinos and no Latinos. I personally prefer older merengues

I'm late with this response Wendy, but I wanted to let you know that 'Caminare' is not the song MArc Anthony wrote for his daughter. I don't remember the name of that song, but it references his daughter Arianna in it towards the end .... 'Arianna I feel so alive.'
I would LOVE to hear the Hector Lavoe version fo Mi Nina Bonita.' Can you tell me where you got it?

what're all my latinas doing for their honeymoon?? i want to go to DR...i know hurricane season goes til November but statistically there hasn't been any activity there in a long time *KNOCK ON WOOD* plus merengue and bachata 24/7 is like heaven on earth for FH and i!
If you go to DR, look into Excellence in Punta Cana. It's said to be GREAT!!!! My TA just booked this place for another LIW lady and got her a great price. FM me if you want the info.
FH and I wanted to avoid the caribbean because of hurricane season (the last thing I need after the craziness of the wedding and moving in together is to have a hurricane hit our honeymoon spot). Since we already went to Hawaii last year, we decided on French Polynesia (aka Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora) for 10 days.
I'm going to punta cana for my bachellorette party at the end of April.... I can let you how it goes and where I stay.

We are going to Cabo San Lucas between Sept. and Nov. We are getting married in June but we just bought a house, so we figure that we can wait a few months before going on the HM.

very happy and I see there are lot of Ecuatorianas'. I rarely meet Ecuatorianos/as so its good to see this here. And, of course happy over the Latina thread period..:)
so, where are you located? I currently live in Farmingdale, Nassau but moving to Suffolk by next month, closing on a house.
