So I spoke to Ian today and the upgrade price on the cake is $475 so it's not as bad as we thought it would be and we are going to go with. I also asked him about the linens used on the cake table and he said it would be ivory. I asked him about that floral print and he said that they haven't used that in a very long time. So we have nothing to worry about ladies...thank god for that.

Thanks for checking on the floral print sweetie!! I knew that I hadnt seen it the thousand times I was there Glad they got rid of it.

Im happy that the price was better than you thought.. He had told me around that price, so he was right...

We ended up adding the extra course (1st course - mozzarella and tomato) and the extra entree choice (white tiger jumbo shrimp scampi) - in addition to all the other upgrades we did

I don't think I will do them either since the bathrooms are shared, if I do decide on it they will be really small maybe just for the ladies room. Tampons, pads and some hairspray.

Ok thanks... I think the hall itself its beautiful and I don't need to worry much about decorating or over doing it... With my High Centerpieces and favors.. I'll be ok!!

Any suggestions on what other stuff I should worry about in the RH?

I'm not going to have anything extra because the room is gorgeous as is just maybe a monogram from the DJ like the spotlight...and that's a hugeeee maybe.

Yeah we getting it with our DJ.. He is also doing the lights , etc etc

I think what will make the room stand out when the guests walk in will be the FAVORS on each plate .. Plus the centerpieces...

I'm getting soooo excited..

So I read the thread about liability insurance and now Im freaking out!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke with Ian and went over all my vendors and he didnt say anything about this.. plus my BM never mentioned it to me either... where you girls ever told about needing to get this insurance for your vendors?

Your vendors all of insurance. We spoke to Ian about this and he said that all of the vendors we are using already have their certificate's of insurance on file with Leonard's. Most popular vendors will already have their info with them.

No I have not been told but my wedding vendors all came from True Weddings and they have dealt with Leonards ( a lot lately) and they usually ask for one when there is a big venue... But its always good to have one.

Your vendors should have one.. Thats no a problem they can fax one over to Leonards.

when our BM was maurizio he taked to use about insurance, i remember him saying something like the week of the wedding your vendors will contact Leonards and fax over a copy of their insurance...

hi ladies i just wanted to bump this thread and say iam meeting with Ian tomorrow night, i will try to update on Monday if i can about how the meeting went.
i also know theres a leonards bride on here getting married tomorrow, cant remember her name though

thats her name! maybe ill catch a glimpse of her tomorrow, i know her reception starts around 6pm, and my meeting is 630

im hoping the meeeting goes good, im not crazy about the priced on upgrading the cakes, so ill probably take the ugly simple free ones lol, and just have the florist put flowers on it to make it look prettier....im running out of $$$$ lol
