So I read the thread about liability insurance and now Im freaking out!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke with Ian and went over all my vendors and he didnt say anything about this.. plus my BM never mentioned it to me either... where you girls ever told about needing to get this insurance for your vendors?

so freaking out

Your vendors all of insurance. We spoke to Ian about this and he said that all of the vendors we are using already have their certificate's of insurance on file with Leonard's. Most popular vendors will already have their info with them.

When you finalized your menu with Ian and gave him your list of vendors, did he say anything? He just wrote all the names down, but didnt make any mention of insurance or anything to us.. I didnt ask him because I had no idea about this

Does anyone know how many guests the round table holds?

Yes, Ian said its our choice how many people to put at a round table .. but the smallest holds 8 people and the largest holds up to 12 .. so anywhere from 8-12 people at a table

i was told and shown the two sizes of tables... the smaller one holds 8-10, 8 fit comfortably... the bigger size looks too big and looks really odd....

hey girls, so i met with Ian. we finalized the menu and picked out the cake, i went with cake #6 which is plain and had columns in 2 parts of it but i took the columns out and just had it stacked, its plain white with small white roses on it, the filling we got was chocalate mousse. the free cakes really arent THAT bad, i thought they would be worse. my florist is going to add flowers to it anyway to make it look alittle bit better.
the only 2 things we added were the upgraded the menu. we booked in 07 and they could have kept our menu, or for $3.00 more pp we could upgrade to the 4 choices..eggplant, fish stuffed with crabmeat (cant remember what kind of fish right now), stuffed chicken and filet mignon (sp?). we also added wine on each table, that was $5.00 pp.
other then that everything went well, i had no problems with Ian he was very helpful, answered all our questions. he also gave me a seating chart, a list of what you have to do the week of the wedding and placecards. i was thinking of doing my own placecards, but iam being lazy, and they arent that bad so im just using them.

Sounds great at least you got a cake that you wanted and were able to modify it to you were liking and you got everything else you wanted . Did he say how much the cake would cost if they had the cake in a different color?

The round tables look really great but i don't know it seemed kind of cramped when i sat at a 8 person table

I didnt ask, because i liked how it looked in white, since my colors are black white and accents of hot pink, ill just tell the florists to add hot pink flowers
but hopefully it wont be that much more.

Yea hopefully lol. The cake sounds very pretty and best of all it's free. I may have to look into that when i go and screw the colored cake lol.

honestly, i went to two weddings in the past few months, and cant remember how either of the cakes looked. i was too busy dancing and running around i didnt even pay attention to the cake lol.....so since its free i just stuck with it. its simple and im sure flowers will make it look a little nicer.

Yea that's so true. Did Ian mention if they can add a ribbon or like those crystals sprays on it or around the bottom of each layer for you? My problem is i fell in love with a cake like that lol.

Maybe the ones my cousin had were the smaller rounds because it felt pretty cramped. If they offer the larger rounds i'll get those.

i didnt ask about that because i wasnt interested in it, but there is the other free cake that has some lines on it like in a design so maybe youll like that cake when you see it.
