We loooovvved the Four Seasons at Wailea....it was paradise & we were treated incredibly (it helps to stay on the club level if you can!! Delicious food presentations pretty much all day & night long in the lounge AND drinks!)

We also stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui, it was amazing. I wish I could travel around the world and stay at every 4 seasons. In Kauai we stayed at the Princeville. I love the Princeville I felt like it had more of an authenitic Hawaiian feel to it. It was so special we will definetly go back one day.

Re: Lets Start a Hawaii Thread
Hey! Yeah Hawaii thread! I am sooooo excited. 4 nights in Maui, at The Grand Wailea 1 night in Oahu, North Shore, at Turtle Bay 6 nights in Waikiki, at some time share joint. I am soooo excited!!!
In Maui, looking forward to the bike ride down Halleakala (sp?), Old Lahaina Luau (FYI- this one is one of the few luaus with open bar).
In Oahu, we plan on Pearl Harbor, hiking diamond head, shopping, shopping, shopping... We rented a jeep for the whole trip, I am so excited to drive around the whole island of Oahu.
For restaurant reviews, etc- I have been addicted to www.tripadvisor.com. Theres lots of pictures too.
I can't offer an estimate on the cost, because my parents were kind enough to offer up their time share, which is covering most of our hotel bill.
ETA- Thinking about maybe hopping over to the Big Island for a day, does anyone know anyone who has done this? I would love to see Volcanos National Park, maybe Kona Town... TIA!

Re: Lets Start a Hawaii Thread
FH and I are very interested in a Hawaiian Honeymoon. And we definitely want to spend time in different islands. Is anyone planning on doing a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands? I'm still trying to decide if the best way is to cruise. TIA

Re: Lets Start a Hawaii Thread
Hawaii is definitely the way to go for your HM IMO...we just got back and it is absolutely paradise! We stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui and it was absolutely amazing!!! The service there was like no other.... We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai - also a nice place - the property was just gorgeous (very tropical). While we cannot complain, the Hyatt was a bit more family oriented than we were hoping for our HM and while the service was not bad, it did not come close to the service at Four Seasons.
Oh one tip: If you plan on doing a luau in Maui....there are two that are very popular 'The Old Lahaina Luau' and another.......anyway - book in advance! we tried to book when we got there and they were booked solid for 5 weeks.

We are going to Hawaii for 2 weeks... Haven't booked anything yet, we want to island hop. So its a matter of figuring out how to divide the 2 weeks between the islands..
