Since there's such a long French Pol one, I think we need one of our own....
So...how long are you going and where are you staying? And what activities do you want to do?
I'm staying 9 nights - 4 in Kauai, 5 in Maui. Both at the Hyatt.
I REALLY want to do the bike ride down the volcano...anyone else plan to do that?

I completely agree. The time is flying by. I am a teacher and I know once school starts the wedding is going to be here. The time is going by so quickly!

Some advice from a fellow Hawaii bride: book lots of time on Kauai! It's beautiful and a nice place to start at because its quiet!

Re: Lets Start a Hawaii Thread
We are abou to book our HM in Hawaii, 2 nights Oahu, 6 In Maui and 5 in Kuai.
We have decided on the grand hyatt in Kuai and prob the hilton hawaii village in Ohau but are between the fairmont and the hyatt in Maui. The Fairmont is all suites but with the hyatt hopper you get free breakfast and food in Hawaii is so expensive. Can anyone give a comaprarson on the two?
Activity-wise, I have heard that zip lining in Kuai is awesome and that the Dole pinapple plantation in Oahu is worth the trip.

I didn't stay at the Hyatts but, I stayed near them on both islands. I recommend staying there in Maui because the breakfast can save you a TON of money. Also, Kanapali beach is a great area. I didn't go down to Wailea though but friends of ours who went wished they stayed up in Kanapali.
In Kauai, definitely do a helicopter tour. In Maui, the Old Lahaina Luau is great and the Road to Hana is nice.

I went to the Dole pineapple plantation when I went to Oahu in high school. It was great, and you can have pineapples shipped back to NY. I definitely want to go there again when FH and I go for our Honeymoon
