Be sure to ask about that. They do have bathroom attendants but only on the main floor and upstairs. The lady upstairs has a full spread she puts out of anything you can possibly think of from tampons to hair spray.
I think the difference between you making your own basket and having the attendants - is that sometimes the attendants charge people ($1.00) for using their products (many times I've seen people outraged that they were charged - most people don't have a habit of bringing $$ into the bathroom with them). If you have your own basket, you have to understand that not only could there be other parties on the same floor, but the employees use those bathrooms as well - so it would be more than just your party using your products.

It's not Leonards - it's the bathroom attendants. Although they are Leonards' employees, they use their own money to buy the supplies - and like I said they have pretty much everything - hair spray, static guard, tampons, perfume, etc. But since they bought it they'll charge about $1 for use of their products. Otherwise, they have a tip basket. They stand there, make sure the bathroom is clean at all times, and hand you napkins when you wash your hands.
So it's really up to you if you want to use your own basket or the attendant's. Call Leonards and make sure they have an attendant for your floor on your day (sometimes they won't have an attendant especially if your wedding is during the week). But again, if you're going to make your own basket to put in the rest room, understand that other parties as well as employees use those rooms and most likely use your baskets as well.

Depends on how you look at it - it's not Leonards that is supplying the products - it's their employee they hired to take care of the bathroom. She bought the stuff with her own money, so in order to keep it replenished she charges a fee. It makes sense if you think about it, because regardless you'd be paying extra, whether you buy the products yourself and set them out - or just using her products.
This is when those bridal survival kits come in handy - if you requested it on your registry or someone makes it for your shower - be sure to bring it with you and keep it in your bridal suite. You can ALWAYS access the bridal suite whenever you want. It's yours. But it's only for the bride, groom and wedding party not the guests.
The guests' attendant will charge them (as I've explained).
I'm sorry if I've put a damper on anything. I'm just letting you know so there's no surprises.

I hear you - but if you think about it not every wedding even has an attendant let alone supplies. I know for myself when I go to an event I carry my own things with me. It's always nice to know you have an option, and if it was Leonards themselves supplying the products, they wouldn't charge. It's the lady who's making the min salary plus tips who uses her own money to buy the stuff. It's the same when you go to a club - those ladies bought the stuff themselves - not the club, hence a fee.
But I'm with you on it being rude when it comes to femanine products that should automatically be supplied. Unfortunately - Leonards doesn't have any of those tampon/pads machine for a dime or quarter in any of their bathrooms (guests or bridal suites).
Whatever happens I really hope everything works out for you - don't let such a minor detail effect your big day!
Best wishes to you!

Usually if there is a bathroom attendant in the ladies room, although there might not be a charge to use the products, I always leave a tip in the tip jar.
