what do you ladies drive? are you happy with it?

im going to be shopping around for a while (hopefully) unless my car blows up with me in it..

i need SERIOUS help.

idealy i want a crossover, or a compact sedan.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Acrua TSX! HIghly reccomend them. Only problem is if something breaks they are expensive to fix

I drive a clunker right now...2001 Toyota Camry which is fine for me since it was a free car but honestly I wouldn't buy it again.

The car I've owned that I loved the most was my Honda Civic Coupe...it was a 2000 model and it got like 30mpg, plus it drove like a dream and turned on a dime.

I miss that car

Neel has a Subaru Impreza which is AMAZING in nasty weather (it's AWD).

We also have the 1972 Dodge Dart. Somehow I can't picture you driving that?

And yesterday we almost bid on a Camaro that was put on monster truck wheels. It was on ebay. He decided not to at the last minute, but I totally wanted it.

I drive a 2001 Acura CL. It is pretty old but definitely not a clunker yet. I think they are made very well. I have over 100,000 miles on it and it looks and drives great. I am going to try to sell it in the next couple of weeks and getting an Audi A4.

we live in the city so i dont have a car, but DH has one. He drives a 2008 Toyota Camry. Its totally beat up now bc he drives so much for work and then parks in the city.

I drive an 08 Maxima. I like it but the turning radius STINKS. I LOVE the Altima though...

I have a 2009 Prius and FH just got a 2010 Prius. We love it. It's not for everyone, but let me tell you, I save tons of money on gas. I drove from Mineola to Virgina and then Virgina to Maryland on one tank of gas.

we have a matrix. i friggin love that car. we can shove so much stuff in the back and its great on gas. this weekend we went to the island with 4 huge suitcases and a dog cage (open, with the dog in it), numerous tote bags and schoolbags, tennis rackets, food....

ok HERES my dilemma:

i am obsessed with the X3.. like, everytime i see it parked i hug it or point and go thats going to be mineeeee..

can i afford it? yes. will i have to cut back on other spending to have SOME savings, YEP. but i REALLLLLLY want it. if i do get one, it will be a 2007 with like 40k miles..

OR

i can get a 2010 Altima or a 2010 civic with ZERO miles and continue my normal lifestyle.

( finance with 8-10k down on any car i get)

DH says i should just go on craigslist and buy a used car. but he changes cars A LOT. I plan on keeping my car for 10+ yrs. I also want a crossover cuz in a few yrs when we have a kid... it'll just be safer.

Also, theres another car I 'like' but i know some1 who has it and i really REALLYYYYYY HATE THEM! ive never hated some1 so much in my life. so i dont want to get the same car as them lol. i know its childish.. but when u daydream about chioking them and smiling about it, u kinda dont want to have the same of anything as them lol

should i just grow up and test drive?

Right now I drive 07 Jetta, love it, however we are looking into the X3, I want a smaller SUV for when we start to have kids and I'm completely obsessed with it.
