For you ladies who did uplighting, is that the only lighting you had, or did the DJ also provide his typical lighting (or intelligent lighting). I'm having candle centerpieces and I'm thinking of getting uplighting instead of the intelligent lighting from the DJ, but I don't want it to be too dark.

I got my lighting through a lighting company and I added they extra lighting package to my DJ as well. But that lighting was just for the dance floor.

We did kinetic uplighting all around the ballroom, and had candles as well throughout the ballroom, ch room and foyer etc. We also did some hurricanes with orchids and floating candles. I definitely think it makes a huge difference if you have uplighting as well well as tealights/votives, etc. Good luck!

your room looks gorgeous

Thank you!!!

We got our lighting through our DJ. All lighting, including intelligent lighting and uplights, as well as gobo.

Re: Lighting

We are doing def doing uplighting.

We are paying $25 per light and we're getting 20 lights so it's $500 for the lighting. We are getting it through our DJ. I've seen a lot of places charge $45+ per light but my DJ owns all the equip so he does it for less. HTH

Just wanted to share photos of our uplighting and gobo. I had been on the fence about it but it was worth every penny!

Elegancia Entertainment did all of our lightscaping. It changed colors throughout the evening and truly enhanced the ambiance.

we are going with NY Lounge Decor, getting LED lights for the reception, and parkcan stationary uplighting for the ceremony. For everything it was 1305

I def plan on doing uplighting too. One color and per Pierre from NY lounge he said i would need only about 10 led lights. With delievery set up and the leds it should be about $500.00...

After seeing some of the pics on here ----I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
