Limos and In-laws
So the last 'big thing' I need to book are limos. Is it customary to get a car for my in-laws? Neither myself, FH, nor any of the bridal party will be getting ready at their house, so at most there will be five people there (if his aunt and uncle decide to go with FH's parents). I haven't started pricing limos out yet, so I don't know what the additional cost would be, but I'm just curious what you other ladies are doing. TIA!

We weren't able to do limos for the parents, but both parents were okay with it. My parents decided they wanted one, but they are paying for it themselves.

We're just getting one limo. They will go get my FH and his party as well as his mom and dad and drop them at the venue. The second ride will be to come get me, my girls, mom and dad!

We are only doing a limo for the bridal party. My parents and his family will be traveling together or via cab to and from. HTH

Thanks ladies! Since the BM's and I will be getting ready at my parents house, they'll both be in the limo with me, and I didn't want his parents to feel like I wasn't thinking about them.

My mom and dad are coming with me to church in the limo w/ the girls. After that though they will go home with some of our family members before heading out to Fox Hollow at 630/7. Though a nice gesture, do you think that they would even think you were proving them with one? I feel like the bride's parents usually go with her since the father is walking her down the aisle.... so I figured that they are bringing her to the wedding - no? Think about it, when you get a lead car...the bride usually goes with her father (and mom too sometimes) and then after the husband goes in the lead car.
Edit........It might be an extra expense that might not be necessary. Your FH's side, will they need a ride home at the end of the night? would they want their cars? or will they take a cab?
