LIQUOR AT YOUR HALL?

What kind of Vodka, beer, etc.. does you catering hall offer? I know Top Shelf, but that does not always mean Premier.

Mine serves Absolute, Stoli and maybe 2 others, but not Kettle One or Grey Goose and I am starting to feel like I need to make a phone call.

Mine has premiere I guess, they have Kettle One, Grey Goose and all the others, as well as tons of imports.....

Absolute, and all the ones you mentioned are top shelf, right?

I am so out of the liquor loop cause I really only drink wine now.

I really don't know what kinds they provide, but they did tell me that if we had a special request they would bring it in. My father and his sailing buddies are HUGE Mt. Gay rum drinkers so the RH is going to bring in bottles for them. Maybe you can see if your place will give you some bottles of Kettle One?

They can bring in anything, but they most likely charge you on top of what they pay. I can get it for a great price from an outside source, but it's kind of like 'All this Money I am paying' in my head. I am going to make the call today and see what they can do for me.

Hey Bari, to add Grey Goose at the Estate it's $70 per bottle, and to add Kettle One, it's $55 per bottle. Our guests are going to have to stick with Absolut and the others they offer b/c we're cheap!

Holy rip off . I can get it for MUCH cheaper then that, so I guess I will just have to live with it. My friends, they could probably care less if there is food in front of them as long as there is a bar.

Yeah, that's what we figured too! All FH was concerned about was that they serve Jack Daniels and they do so we're not adding any top shelf liquors. Maybe your guests could bring flasks?

I know our hall offers Kettle One and Grey Goose...so I assume that is premier?

Bar, don't worry. People aren't gonna say anything. They are there to celebrate you and dance the night away. They won't know the difference between stoli and grey goose after a few drinks

I know some people notice about the drinks, but its up to you!

mine is the same for top shelf, we are not paying for premiere. And we have a lot of drinkers, but in the grand scheme of things, it is not something I can worry about. In the end they will all be drunk, whether it is grey goose or Absolute!

But you are right top shelf is not the same as premiere, some places charge more.

My hall goes above and beyond.....not only do they have all top shelf like kettle one & grey goose, they also advised us if we had any special requests, they would do their best to honor them... we requsted Alize.....a drink my MOH can't do without..and they said it wouldn't be a problem...

ours includes absolute for the vodka, we upgraded for $5/p.p. to grey goose. we also got them to throw in the ice cream sundae bar with the $5/p.p.
