Living up to resolution ( Weight Watchers)

Original post by Kimbalina

OK sooo to boost that weight loss goal.. I joined weight watchers.
I am hoping that someone making me get on a scale every week is going to jump start some More progress!

Did any one else join a weight loss plan?

I'm on weight watchers- well at least I was until before the holidays

My friend and I are re-starting on Saturday at Carle Place- anyone go there?

I go to Carle Place - I have to start going again.

I used to go to the Saturday morning meetings with Linda

I want to join but I didn't want to go alone... maybe we could go together?

FH and I joined WW in October right after our eparty. The holidays killed both of us, but we're back on track.

FH said he isnt into meetings but he wants to reap the benefit of me going and paying the fee... so I told him he is spiltting the cost!

Didn't join WW or anything but I'm going to join the gym this week and I did my healthy grocery shopping last night. My friend just started the south beach diet though and she loves it!

Thanks for the info on the book. I do love to read. I am happy that everyone responded. I wanted to post this so I can remember what I am trying to do.

Maybe we should have an 08 slim down thread?

i think a slim down thread would be awesome! it will be nice to have a place to 'check in' when i start feeling frustrated....

My friend will get a little carried away with it. She'll stay on the 1st step for way too long and not start eating all of the other food they tell you to add to your diet. But she definitely gets the results she wants!

I started the Fat Smash Diet on Tuesday.. So far so good... I have NEVER, not even when I was pregnant, craved junk food so much in my life!!!! I guess since I know I cant have it, I want it even more!!
But I havent cheated yet... And I feel so good that I am actually sticking to it!!!

Wow good for you!! FH and I tried the fat smash diet like 4 times, by day 3 we're completely famished lol and we go out for a nice non-healthy meal..i wish I could stick to it, but like you said, you crave the foods you know you CANT have. Makes you feel like you're starving yourself

FH and I are joining WW next week. I've done it before and had great results

LOL
I know what youre saying...
Ill admit... Today is day 3 and I was just about to say forget this crap.. I want GOOD junk food!
And I know you arent supposed to weigh yourself until day 10 but I just had to..
So I hopped on the scale and I am down 3 pounds already in just 3 days... Im happy with that!!!!
So that was my motivation to seriously stick to it...
i havent even exercised yet, Im waiting for my Slim in 6 videos to come in and then the weight better fall off!!!
