I have a question:

Everytime I try to change the pic in my chat avatar in never seems to change. Sometimes a pic that I tried to use will show up out of no where. What am I doing wrong? and Why does a pic just show up? Any ideas???

Sometimes you have to hit refresh on your browser to see the updated avatar pic. Often we can see the new pic but you can't until you refresh. Right now we see no avatar pic for you.

OK, I know the hardest part for me was PICS.

The easiest way to insert a pic is if it's already on another website. Right click the pic, and select 'properties' and the bottom the menu. Copy the URL and when you're in your reply post, click 'insert web image' - paste the URL.

If the pic is not already on another site, I've found that the easiest way to resize to the perfect viewing size is to upload the pic to a LIW album (you can create one under the 'my wedding' feature on the top header), then post it as a web image.

This rookie has a question.

Lets say I am on page three and I post to a topic, how do I get back to where I left off on page three? Normally when I post I hit the bhb and end up back at the first page with that topic being first, and I don't wanna go back to the first page. I wanna stay on page three. Is this possible?

if you're on the BHB page, click the little #3 in parenthesis next to the post's title....

but if you're on the last page of the post, there's #s at the top left of the screen. Click page 3!

In the upper right hand corner there is a little
yellow square with a + sign
click that to add a thread to your notebook

to view it click 'my weddings'
then 'notebook'

I think you are talking about getting back to the main BHB screen page 3 right? If so, I hit the back button 3 times and it takes me directly to where I was before I made the post. HTH

I believe avatar is what appears right below your alias...
<~~~~ see where it says how long we've been a member, when/where we're getting married, the picture we chose, how many posts, etc.
OR, if could be the list that pops up when you click on someone's alias. I've never actually confirmed it myself, but I know it's one of the two.

To search, click on the SEARCH button up to, right in btwn the LOGOUT & HELP buttons.
Then, u try to narrow your search with keys points your looking for (keyword, the board in which it would be located, maybe a member's alias, and during what time it was posted). The more information you provide, the better the results. For example, let's search for THIS post: if u click 'LIW tips' in the 1st box, then chose the BHB board in the drop down menu, then type 'chichila15' in the member name, and click search, then you get only one matching item... this post. Voila! HTH.

I like the idea of a Travel Forum. It would really help in planning the HM!! Even tho FH is supposed to do that!!!
