Oh my goodness I didn't see your original thread until now or I would have responded sooner... I am so, so sorry for your loss. I know how awful it is to lose a grandfather like that, I will be praying for you to get through this and I know your grandfather is in a better place. Now he will really be with you at your wedding and know what is happening. FM me if you need to talk, with all the emotions we've both been going through this week with grandparents I am here if you need!!

For you and your family. May your Grandfather rest in peace!!! He is in a better place. I know how hard it is to lose a grandparent. I ended up having my weddng on my granddad's birthday. We are all here for you.

Lots of hugs and I know exactly what your going through. My grandpa just passed away 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Each day will get easier just be there for grandma she will need the support. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandpa a little over a year ago, and it was tough. But it is comforting to know they are both in a better place, not feeling any pain or unhappiness...

This is so touching!!! I lost all of my Grandparents But I will tell you a quick story: Back in 2004, my dad was very sick. His liver was failing...he had a rare liver disease. My Grandma (his mother) passed away just before I learned that I was a viable liver donor for my dad!!! I swore that she came to me the night I found out the date of the liver transplant (we wound up having the transplant on June 7, 2004)...I felt her come to me that night!!! It was as if she knew I was going to save her son's life and she was thanking me!!! So, I do believe that there is a 'higher power'. I am so sorry for your loss...it sounds like you have a very special relationship with your Grandfather and that is something you will have in your heart always!!!
