Lost hope in school. UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

so i cant so crying... i feel like a huge elephant is sitting on my chest from anxiety... SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE!!!!! i have never felt so stupid in my whole life. the teachers are WAY out of line.. and well i need a 90 on tomorrows final in order to stay in the program. which is OUTRAGEOUS! WHAT DO I DO??????

oh no!!!! first breathe!! what program are u in? maybe u can ask the professor for help? ask if u can do some extra credit assignements to get your grade up?

Take a deep breath....Maybe you can ask for an extension to take the test another time?
If not, just do the best you can...

I say study like you have never studied before for the rest of the day and night...I always went to the library to study when I needed to really pay attention...it sounds so boring, but try it if you can...I found it very helpful with absolutley zero distractions...good luck

Take Vivarin, make study cards, do whatever you have to do to get a 95 on this final!!!!

You can do it Meg - take a deep breath - and get to work. You KNOW this material... try not to stress, you can do this mama! You know this stuff!!!!

OMG megan I am in the same situation as you. I have a final tomorrow and I don't understand ANYTHING! I didn't do so well on the mid term so I am really stressing this final, statistics is just not my thing! I e-mailed the professor and he was able to calm me down a little bit, maybe you can do the same? I find them to be very understanding in these situations (most of time time anyway, I've had my share of nasty professors as well)

Def. make study cards. They help me with all my tests. You can do it. I know it is stressful and hard right now but it can be done. Just take a deep breathe and study really hard. I know how it can be but you can do it. We all know you can.

You can do this... You know this shiit. You're way more intelligent that you give yourself credit for. Crack that book, think positive... don't focus on what happens if you don't pass, focus on what happens WHEN you pass.

girls you are all soo sweet THANK YOU!!! im sorry i didnt get right back to you i felt like a nap was just in the cards.. i needed to feel refreshed. anyway.... to answer some ?s

1. this is the Nursing program at BOCES
2. No theres not any extra credit.
3. the teacher is RUDE, unprofessional, and full of BS.
4. The test is on Pharmacology.
5. i asked for extra help and i was told.. 'if you dont get it by now (this is after th 6 days she took to teach it) then theres really no hope and this is the most important part. and well... I wouldnt want you to me by nurse if you didnt get a 100 on the pharm'.. (this is where the unprofessional part comes into play!!!
6. i flat out told her that i have a learning disability its amazing ive been doing so well to begin with and she just blew me off and said.. i cant change things for ONE student. but offered NO help!!!
7. We had a quiz today in class that reflect exactly whats on tomorrows test and i felt GREAT after i took it like im in the clear.. and then we went over it and i just couldnt believe i FAILED!

im sooo sorry this is long and im just venting i really appreciate you girls listen... and would love to know if you girls could just say a prayer for me tongiht i really need it!

Jess... i feel the same way.. i JUST DONT GET IT!!!! and my come back is whats the difference between a C nurse and an A nurse??? NOTHING THEIR BOTH NURSES !!!

I had a very nasty, unprofessional professor last semester for my child development class. I befriended a lot of people in the class who I had write e-mails to the head of the dept, including myself. This man was just out to fail us and told us that the grading system at our school is overrated Anyway, he changed his tune once he found out there were so many complaints about him. I'm not sure if it's too late but if there are a lot of students in your class with complaints, this might help you.

shes so crazy im afriad to go over her cuz shes SPITEFULL and would fail me on purpose. We had a clinical rotation last week and one of the ladies didnt come back this week cuz of what the teacher said to her.. from what i hear the teacher said 'Well.. (so and so) you know your very smart in class but you just dont have the hands to be a nurse' in front of the class the teacher said this. and it was NOT to a child it was to a 38 year old woman!!!!! and she gets away with this crap. i really just want to mind my own business and graduate but its a horrible learning environment!
