I found out at 4pm. I was upset but Iwanted to leave there for a while. I got a decent package and although I will be looking for a new job I think I'll take NOV & Dec off

What a bummer, Stacey, but I agree it may well be a blessing in disguise. When one door closes another opens up and this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to do what you REALLY want to do. And, the economy is starting to pick up! So, I would say 'I'm Sorry' but I choose instead to say 'Congrats on getting your life back and getting the chance to take some much needed 'YOU-TIME' and figure out what's next!' Good luck!!

the same thing happened to me last year - I got a decent package and I was happy for some 'time off!' Take the time to relax and enjoy the holidays.

Wow, I'm sorry you lost your job so close to the end of the year but that is good that you got a nice package. And out of any months to be able to relax a bit, Nov and Dec are good months.
