Re: Macy's or Fortunoffs????
That's good to hear. I think Bloomingdales may also be more universal. . .

No Problems with Macys! Actually they send you a free gift when guests purchase 10 place settings of either you flatware, china or glassware. It is much more convienent for people. Any believe me most people do not go online to purchase shower gifts.

Re: Macy's or Fortunoffs????
I registered at both Fortunoff and Macys. There aren't that manythings on my Macys registry. I mostly registered for stuff at Fortunoff. I just luv the stuff there.

Re: Macy's or Fortunoffs????
We registered at Fortunoff. As a guest I have had nothing but problems (lots of them) at Macy's trying to buy gifts for brides. Just this weekend my mother and I were treated terribly by Macy's in Walt Whitman Mall while trying to buy a shower gift. I would never subject my guests to that. I'd use Bloomingdales instead.

Re: Macy's or Fortunoffs????
I want to thank all you for your suggestions. I went with Fortunoff's. I found my crystal and silverwareand bed linens. The woman in the silverware department was very helpful and didn't try to sell me on a very expensive place setting. But I ghave to say the woman in the crystal department was a a bit rude. When I showed her my china and silveware she told me they were very plain and boring and I that I should get a more flashier crystal. Anyway I am very happy with Fortunoff's so far but I'll wait and see what happens when I have my shower.

Re: Macy's or Fortunoffs????
Most definately Fortunoffs. I got married in July and had no trouble at all returning things to Fortunoffs. They credited us with the full price. Many things were less expensive at Fortunoffs and they went out of their way to help us when we were putting things on the list. In Macy's there was never anyone to help us. We had to return a couple things to Macys and they only gave us about half the selling price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Most definately Fortunoffs.Welcome New Vendors
