So i went in a few weeks ago to see my dress!!! the lady that does the alterations told me i couldn't get the bottom altered since i didn't have my shoes.. i told her i didn't want it altered yet anyway b/c i have some time... when i walked out they even wanted me to pay them for alterations but i told them i didn't want them to touch the dress... i even called them a few days later to remind them not to touch the dress
sooo..
i go in monday night for my first fitting.. and low and behold.. she altered the top of my dress!! and now it dosn't fit!!! its soooo tight.. she was able to zip it up all the way but i couldn't breath AT ALL.. she said its b/c she put cups in it.. BUT when i tried it on, i tried it with the cups so thats just a lame excuse!
i'm so upset.. i dont know what to do

they said it was a misunderstanding!!!!! can you believe that!
Ask them what was misunderstood. No alterations, mean no alterations. It's their misunderstanding so it becomes their problem to fix in an acceptable manner to you.

macy's in manhasset...i can't believe they did this... apparently they have been making tons of mistakes.. b/c everytime i go there , there is an unhappy bride
i will try to talk to the manager.. i hope she does something.. im so upset

I am sorry this happened to you. Try talking to her but if doesn't work start yelling. Seems to work everytime. You spend money on it and you deserve to get exactly what you ordered.
