we went with BBB, they seem to have everything that Macys has and more affordable we thought. We also like the fact that they have the 20% off coupons that I know would help friends and family :)

i would do macys then, i did BBB for a lot of the little things but you can still find most of that at macys, plus i think you have a better selection of decor and nicer bedding, towels, luggage etc

just as an FYI - when you register with macys, you get a gift card with savings after your bridal shower. its calculated by 5% of what people spend or something like that and you get back 15% if they bought your gift with their macys credit card. so by default, since i will be getting a macys giftcard for free, i would choose them!

I would say BBB. They have the coupons which will allow your guests to purchase more things. Also they have a better return policy

We have both but I am thinking I might do more stuff on BB&B instead of Macys. The only reason we will have a small one at Macys is because my mother already purchased us a Pots and Pans set from there when we moved into our apartment and I would like to add to the collection. I also like that people can use the 20% coupons.

if I had to pick one, I would pick Macys. I feel the selection is bigger and I just like it better than BBB. We did do both though and tried to scatter some things around both registries.

We did both - BBB for the kitchen stuff and Macy's for the bedding, towels, etc. I wasn't a big fan of BBB's linens.

I did only BBB... 20% & $5 Coupons are totally worth it... I went and returned a few things this weekend to the BBB on Erskine in BK and got cash back...

I love BBB because of the coupons...and all of the perks...I'm pretty sure that after the wedding you get an additionl % off plus the Coupon on items you didn't buy for up to a year after your wedding.

I registered at Macys. I know I am going to be in the minority when I say this but I really hate BBB. Everytime I go there I have issues finding what I want.

At first I did Macys, but I ended up deleting that registry. I started it online and when I went to the store they had almost nothing that I picked out. And the things that they did have were impossible to find, or they were listed in stock, but even the sales people couldn't find them. I ended up doing BBB and Pottery Barn. Not a fan of Macys.

I did both. I only registered at MAcys for the higher end items. I would say if you only want to do 1 i would go with BBB. They have a wider selection and its more cost effective for your guests

we did both because we wanted certain things from each store.
macys was more difficult because a lot of things we wanted were discontinued by the time my shower rolled around... we started registering in November (because if i heard one more persons comment about us not registering soon enough i was going to lose it) and my surprise shower was in April. So from November through April i went through about 4 bedding sets, and a whole bunch of plate sets. ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so the one thing thats good at BBB, is that most of their stuff doesnt get discontinued that often. At Macys, you never know! but they have different stuff.
