Re: Maid of Honor...

Congratulations on your engagement! I think it is perfectly acceptable to have 2 MOH's. I have 2 because I couldn't choose between my sisters. And to answer your other question the best man will be escorting them both. Good luck with your decision!

Re: Maid of Honor...

my matron lives in FL and my maid lives here in NY.

My matron I love and I asked her to be my matron because she is like a sister to me. I know she cant be as involved as my maid but she is still very involved with other things. I speak to her once a week on everything. She gave me great registering tips, she is letting me borrow her slip as my something borrowed, she told me things she would have changed if she could, and i dont make a move unless I talk to her first. She sent me a beautiful letter appologizing she cant be here for my fittings or looking at dresses but she'll be the first one at my house on my wedding day and she'll be at my side through out the whole day and no matter what I need she'll be there for me.

my maid has been my best friend for 10 years and she knows what I am going to say before I even say it.

I have absolutly no problems with out of state girls. One of my BM is in NJ. It actually makes things a little easier because all they have to do is just give me their measurements and we rely on a lot of emails and phone calls.

I find that with out of staters they know you wont expect them to be at every little thing and all that matters to them is that you are happy and that you asked them to be apart of your special day. My BM in NJ I asked her over the phone and she cried. My matron cried (I asked her in person) and screamed and called everyone we knew because she was so honored to be my matron.

All your girls will be happy for you and will only care that you are happy.
