That was the perfect response. Youre crying cause its unbelievable and something tells me those are tears of shock and anger. Not of sadness. Its a slap in the face what she's doing. Sorry she made you feel this way

i can't believe someone you did all that for would do something like this to you.

i hope you talk to her and tell her how upset you are. but i can't help but wonder how she wouldn't know how upset this is making you.

my whole family went to her wedding
my parents
sister and BIL
cousin and wife
aunt and uncle

AND bought ALL of their china!!!

I am not one to 'remind' people of things, but i have to let you know how i feel. Not only did Brandon save A TON of money by using Artie for your e-ring and then wedding bands, but i spent A LOT of time and energy helping make your day perfect for you
The envelopes, the centerpieces, the gown shopping, the shower at my apartment and the bachelorette party and not to mention the fittings, the getting hair and makeup done - my entire family that attended your wedding and purchased ALL of your china.

After the wedding, Sammy and I helped you move using his truck. We did these things to help a FRIEND.

I did it because I WANTED to
I said that i was in shock, because i cannot believe that since Brandon is going away you are not coming. Again, your mother and Jeff were invited so if you WANTED to be there, you would.

I am very disappointed and really hurt that you won't share in my joy that day.

EXCELLENT. Its non-confrontational and youre stating how you feel in a civilized way. Send it to her. I would love to hear what she has to say.

I'm sorry this upsets you so much, I would be hurt by this as well. I definitely think you should let her know how much it means to you to have her there and that it hurts you to think she wouldn't be there just because her husband can't make it. I don't think she realized how much she has hurt you. Here is a Let me know if you want me to call her and yell at her, I will!

People freakin suck!

I was friends with a girl for 28 years (since 1st grade). Like you, I went out of my way for her and tried to be the best friend possible. The first thing I noticed was that every phone conversation was about HER and her problems and what was going on with her. I chalked it up to her going thru a rough patch and needing to vent. Then she got engaged. I was invited to be a BM and I made sure I was doing as much as I could to help out. I spent soooo much money on that wedding. Suddenly one of the other BMs began mentioning going dress shopping and looking for wedding shoes and booking hair appts. I wasn't invited to any of these outings. I was hurt but once again I convinced myself that it wasn't done on purpose and I let it go for the sake of the friendship.
The morning of the wedding she was in the foulest mood I have ever seen a bride in. She yelled at me for being 15 minutes late and then told everyone that I 'ruined her wedding morning' with my lateness. Never mind that another BM didn't show up until 10 minutes before the limo arrived. First I went to the bathroom and cried then I got pissed. I had had enough of this one-sided friendship. I ripped up the card I got her along with the $500 check I made out to her for her wedding day gift. I didn't speak to her the entire reception and when the reception was over I got in my car without so much as a goodbye.

I ended the friendship and never called her again. A year later a BM e-mailed saying that my former friend was sorry and really missed me --- but it's too late.

Sorry this is so long but the point is that SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT WORTH IT. If this is how she behaves after all you did for her then you don't need her. Bet she'll miss you when her baby shower is a flop. Good friends are hard to come by and it's her loss.
