Is anyone doing their own make up? I have had three trials so far (not with any from LIW) and they made me look like a corpse. My face was pasty and my lips walked into the room ten minutes before the rest of my face. One of the girls had me in bubble gum pink blush. It looked like I was playing in my mother's make up!!! I thought she was going to fall off the chair when I turned around. She was like Valerie, I don't think you should look in the mirror. It was scary!! I am nervous about doing it myself though because I don't want to screw it up. Is there anyone you can recommend that does a good job without making me look like a circus performer???

i'm having one of my maid of honors do it .. it wont stress me to do it myself and she does her own so great.. she is going to do a trial run a month or so ahead of time so we can test it out

I don't wear much either, so when the last woman did it I was like h*ll no!!! It didn't even wash off with soap and water. I had so many colors dripping off my face I looked like a funky candle or something. I had to use skin so soft from avon and a few paper towels. Not a pretty sight

thats what i want to avoid.. see if one of ur girls will do it or a family member.. have them play around a month before to see what you like .. i'm not spending all that money to feel like a cake face.. good luck

i don't wear any make up other than mascara and a little blush/bronzer.....my cousin's girlfriend is doing my makeup, ([email protected]) you can see it from the buff bride picts. I also had my make up done by daro's this past weekend for a wedding a loved it (lori5168127909) i would check them out...good luck...oh i will post the picts of make up later when i get them on the copmuter.

I am a mary kay consultant and I am having my Director do it. I trust her, she has always amde me look gorgeous in the past.

if i were you i would find a look that you like and show them the picture.....makeup artists def tend to give the dramatic effect but you can let them know that thats not you
