Hey girls. I have been thinking long and hard all weekend and I have to cancel the gtg. I don't want to start any drama, or point any fingers... I will NOT call anyone out on here, it's just not my style.

Anyway, this has been brought up quite a few times in the past few weeks, but I never thought I would ever be part of it. When I post on this site, I am fully aware that it is a public forum. I don't post hurtful things about people, I don't complain about my BP, etc. I know that everyone can read this at anytime. I DO, however, have fun with the wonderful people I've met and the handful of actual friends I've made. Whether we start a nonsense thread or joke around with each other I feel safe expressing myself here. That is why I have had gtg's at my house and invited strangers into my home for a good time. i am a very trusting person and this time, it backfired on me.

I received a few FM's recently that insinuate that someone I talk to and opened my home to (a number of times) has things to say about me and felt the need to share those things with other people. To be honest, I really don't care if you like me or not. I never came here to meet friends, I came here to get wedding ideas... the friends I met just happened to be a bonus. So for [b]YOU[b] to waste your time talking smack and being two-faced upsets me. Here is the thing, if I have a real problem, I confront people and try to diffuse the situation and I know that is what makes me a REAL person. Generally speaking, and those that really know me know this is true, if you don't want the truth, don't ask Danielle. Chances are if someone said, 'Oh, Danielle said she didn't like your haircut' you've already heard it from me. I HATE fakeness and I don't want to be part of it. I'd rather you not talk to me than be nice to my face and talk sh*t when I turn around. I just makes me sick to my stomach to know that I am being scruntinzed for things I say on the boards AND in my own home.

It really stinks when something like this happens because it makes you question ALL of your friends... It reminds you that the world isn't as trusting of a place as I sometimes think it is and it also reaffirms the fact that there are miserable people in this world who just can't be happy with their own lives. The level of immaturity that is displayed on here sometimes is just mind-blowing.

Anywho, lesson learned. I need to remove myself a bit and soak this all in. To the person(s) who this is directed at (you know who you are), just remember that Karma is a b*tch.

This is exactly what I was talking to my FH about last night. How in the world are you maintaining a marital relationship when you are so consumed with trash talking?

I am so sorry this has happened to you.
You're one of the people on these boards that always makes me laugh and it's so frustrating to see that someone would feel the need to be a biotch about it.

You're (obviously) not the only one who's real life has been affected by the boards.
It really is a shame how hurtful and obnoxious some people can be.

This is exactly what I was talking to my FH about last night. How in the world are you maintaining a marital relationship when you are so consumed with trash talking?

Some people just dont change...there is a natural progression in life and some people just refuse to let it happen

P.S. I have now added the word poser into my vocabulary...I have never used it before and will begin as of...right now

god...this is really starting to get out of hand. I can't stand drama starters and **** talkers I really can't. Danielle I'm sorry u hafta deal with the BS...lord knows extra BS is the last thing we all need right now

its absolutely pathetic that people cant come here and have a good time or vent. everyone here is basically dealing with the same issues and its nice to have others bring them up for discussion and opinions. What happens here, stays here (stole the vegas line - but its true!)

Danielle sorry this has happened to you and although i know this wasnt about you venting about osmeone else and it getitng back to them, making up crap about things 'you said' is a crock!

I know girls can be petty at times - But it seems that everytime I sign on here....more and more Drama - Don't we have enough to deal with??? Why is everyone so out to get the people that are there for them??? Doesn't make any sense.....

I'm sorry that people have no life. I have to say Danielle that I've always thought it was very brave of you to open your home to 'strangers' that you met online, even if you'd gotten to know them on here. I realize you became actual friends with some of them, which is great and definitely an upside to your generosity, but it also $ucks that the opposite happened and someone took advantage of your kindness. You'd think that at the very least you could expect people to behave like adults and treat you with respect after your opened your home to them. People are so bizarre and truly just HAVE to have drama in their lives. It's sad.

P.S. I agree with some of the other girls, you shouldn't have to cancel your plans for your GTG, just uninvite her.
