Marnles - Puppetry of The Penis review as promised

It was definitely funny but totally gross - not remotely erotic. Actually, my friends and I decided we never wanted to see 'one of those things' again after that show. First, it really looks painful - they stretch and squeeze and deform themselves and all you keep thinking is 'that's gotta hurt.' Second, their parts looked all stretched out and warn out if you can imagine that! Third, it probably would have been much funnier if we had had a couple of drinks first, but we went straight from work and didn't have time to get a drink. Sometimes seeing too much isn't so good - this was one of those times. I don't think I would recommend it for a bachelorette party, but I heard Naked Men Singing is good - anyone see that yet?

Just saw the Vagina Monologues-

Along a similar train of thought (LOL), a bunch of us just saw the Vagina Monologues (Westside Theatre) the other night. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly...it was funny, touching, sad, thought-provoking. It would make a nice bachelorette party destination. Plus, a portion of each ticket $ goes to the V Day fund which dedicates it's resources towards eradicating violence in any form against women. Good stuff!!
