My cousin got married this past Saturday. During the reception, one of her guy friends gets the microphone from the DJ and proposes to his girlfriends right there on the dance floor.
I don't think I'd be too thrilled if someone did that at my wedding, but I wouldn't let it ruin my day either. I don't know how I'd feel if my FH proposed like that.

lol I just asked FH what he would do and he said 'they'd be escorted out...by a bunch of very large italian men...in very nice suits' LMFAO
I do agree that IF it is approved of by the bride and groom PAYING FOR THE WEDDING it should be done towards the end. don't turn somebody elses wedding into your engagement party

I just asked FH what he would do if someone proposed at our wedding and his exact words were: 'Don't steal my show biitch!!!!!!'
And I thought it was just us women who were caught up in this stuff.

Thats crazy! I wouldnt be pissed but Ims ure it puts everyone in an awkward position cause now everyone has to go up to them and say congrats while theyre partying at YOUR wedding. Was he drunk?? He was probably having such a great time and got the wedding itch right then and there!!

I think it's tacky. I'm not a jealous person but come on . A bride & groom work so hard for their day to be special not for everyone to remember the couple who got engaged the night of Mr. & Mrs. wedding. I would be annoyed that is just my opinion.

i know of someone who got engaged at a wedding - like a friend of a friend - id be embarrased to tell that story!

So I was thinking would I be ok with this- and NO I would not be. Especially with out asking first and think about it..... When this girl really gets into planning,, she will understand how it is to want your OWN special day, and she may be sorry he proposed this way.
BTW- go to their wedding and announce that you are pregnant!
