And for all you girls that think your FH has a bad last name...the way you pronounce my FH's last name is 'Skank'!!! Its not spelled that way, but I'd take any of your FH's last names over being Ilana SKANK!

hahaha... whenever my sister mails stuff to us, like christmas cards, invitations... she writes Mr. & Mrs. Angela Ciccone as a joke... he laughs on the outside, but im pretty sure he cries on the inside... lol...

I'm most likely hyphenating...I do practice my signature because its going to be very different..

i've always thought that I would hyphenate our names. But they rhyme so it sounds ridiculous together.

so no i'm not taking his last name but I have practiced writing it out a few times to see if I would change my mind.

The only positive things so far of living in Ecuador when getting married is that I don´t have to take his name. Actually, I can´t.

Here everyone keeps their names. All your life you go by two last names ie:

first name, middle name, dad´s last name, mothers last name.

But since I can´t change my last name here I´m not gonna change it in the states. It would cause too much confusion for my passports (i have dual citizenship) to each have a different last name. I´ll probably get stopped in immigration for being a spy!!!

I just remembered a reeeaallly bad name. I just put a post where I explained that here you go by your two names and two last names. (dad´s last followed by moms last)

The only option you have if you want to incorporate your husbands last name is that instead of using your moms last name on the end you could use the word 'de' and then your husbands last name. That gives the conotation that you are 'his'. (I don´t know about that. ) Well theres a lady that they talk about on the news (i don´t know who she is maybe a politician.?) and though I can´t remember her first name the last name is

CABEZA DE VACA
(Translation:
cabeza - head
de - of/belonging to
vaca - cow)

so basically she is MS. COW´S HEAD!!!!!

I am most definitely taking his name as my own but I haven't started writing it yet. I constantly tell him though I'm the Future Mrs ******* and told him I'm gonna have a hoodie made up stating that

When we go to open houses and stuff I sign that name...

He keeps on referring to me as his wife already too!

Yup, I'm taking his name! I haven't practiced writing it yet though
