Although I do not agree with BENETTA'S post everyone said what they think. There is no reason to continue to bash her.

I love that the 2012 girls are all friendly with each other and I want to keep it that way.

I want everyone to feel like they are able to post something for our opinion and whether we agree or not that you will be treated with respect.

Benetta - If there is more to the story than what you are posting, then I am sure there is a reason why you feel the way you feel. I still think you need to re-think what you wrote. Good Luck with your friend and hopefully in the end you can accept the decision she has made and still have her in your Bridal Party. If you think that her FH is the wrong person for her, then you need to be closer than ever with her (if she is a true friend) b/c she might need your friendship later on. Don't turn your back on her over the fact that she's getting married soon and planning to have a baby right after. I don't think that is a good reason to lose a friendship over.

I agree with the other girls. Be happy for her and understand she'll also have a very emotional journey ahead of her just like you and anyone planning a wedding. We ALL know! How would you feel if she told you when to have kids or when to get married?? That's a very personal choice and nobody should ever have to tell you otherwise.

I agree. I'm sorry but I'd never go on another board and bash someone really hard. We're all girls, we get emotional sometimes but it's important to have an open mind and support eachother in a positive way.

I think you're concerned for your friend and as a friend that's one thing you're supposed to do but in the end they are her decisions. Your friend wants to make her FH happy and it might not end up okay or it might be wonderful. You just have to be there for her no matter what and try to make the best of the situation.

Some of you girls need to relax. The poor girl was venting. Better she vent and take time to cool off.

We dont want drama...

and I know u trying to say Us the 2011 (or 2010) are bringin 'drama' to ur 2012 board but ur wrong...

Unfortunately, when someone post something here U know u will get ALL types of answers...

Everyone should b able to feel like positng ANYTHING THEY WANT.. as long as U are able to see/understand that Everyone will have different opinions & reactions to things....

Now regarding the 2012 being friendly with each other, Thats cool! trust me us the 2011 are friendly n cool with each other....
BUT just WORD OF ADVICE (the same thing 2010 told us) as time passes U will see that as friendly as the boards are, there will be TONS of Drama too... (same thng happen with every yr...)
U guys just started the board... So u havent seen drama yet....

More seriously, a few points before I back away from the drama:

1. Like Mara said, even if you don't necessarily agree -- or strongly disagree -- with BENETTA's post, there's no need to attack. Venting on LIW is different from telling off her friend. That's what we're here for.

2. Similarly, there's no need to attack the 2011 (or 2010 or 2013) girls who crash. Everyone's welcome to post on any board. We're all people. Let's all be friendly!

2012 girls -- I highly recommend reading the 2011 board on occasion, if you don't already. It'll give you a heads up for the things we'll need to be thinking about a year from now. And it's a good place to find inspiration and vendor suggestions when people post pics from hair/makeup trials, sample centerpieces, etc, etc.

3. Life is complex. BENETTA's situation is certainly more complicated than we've seen. On the surface, sure, it's selfish to be mad at a friend for getting married before you and being pregnant at your wedding. But if the friend is being pressured to have a kid in an unhealthy relationship, it CAN be a friend's role to worry.


Now can we end this thread?

WELL I WILL END THE DRAMA BY SAYING, AGAIN I THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR HONESTY, I ASKED FOR IT AND GOT IT, HARSH OR NOT.......AND JUST TO CLEAR THE AIR, THE PURPOSE OF THE POST WAS TO VENT!!!!!!!....NOT TO ANGER PEOPLE OR TO MAKE PROBLEMS......THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT ON WEDNESDAY, I WAS SO UPSET AT THE WHOLE SITUATION FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS THAT I NEEDED SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW ME, MY FRIEND OR THE SITUATION WITH HER AND HER FH TO GIVE INPUT....ALL OUR FRIENDS ARE BIASED BECAUSE THEY KNOW US BOTH AND THEY ALL KNOW THE CONVERSATION SHE AND I HAD ABOUT OUR WEDDINGS BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL PRESENT!!!!.....AND AGAIN, I DONT FEEL THE NEED TO DEFEND MYSELF, BUT I DO WANT TO SAY, I TURNED TO LIW TO VENT AND GET FEEDBACK BECAUSE I'M NOT WILLING TO GET PISSED AND RUIN A FRIENDSHIP OVER THIS....AND THERE WAS ONLY SO MUCH I COULD TYPE OR TRY TO EXPLAIN IN A POST REGARDING THE WHOLE SITUATION BETWEEN SHE AND I.....I GUESS I NEEDED TO GET IT OUT OF MY SYSTEM TO GET MY HEAD AND THOUGHTS TOGETHER....I KNEW THERE WAS NO WAY I COULD HAVE CONTINUED THE CONVERSATION WITH MY FRIEND A DAY AND A HALF AGO IF I WAS THAT UPSET, I TOOK THOSE FEELINGS AND WALA THIS POST APPEARED...I RATHER SOUND ALL CRAZY AND SELFISH AND HORRIBLE TO YOU GUYS RATHER THAN HAVE IT OUT WITH MY FRIEND.....AND AGAIN, JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THE INPUT, GOOD AND BAD ALIKE, BECAUSE ITS AT LEAST HELPING ME REALIZE WHATS MORE IMPORTANT HERE...LITTLE PICTURE, BIG PICTURE!....I'VE DONE A LOT OF READING AND THINKING AND ITS HELPED PUT THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE!!!!
