Going next week to look at places. Looking into Westbury Manor, Jericho Terrace and Coral House first. Our ceremony will be at the hall since its interfaith, so thats two birds with one stone
WHen is a good time for an eparty? we just got engaged on New Years.

Hi everybody!!! I'm May 16th, at 11AM. So far we booked the place, the video, the photographer, the florist and we're booking the band tomorrow.

Jess - Im getting married at 12 noon... what time do you think you are going to have to get up to be ready by 11??? I was thinking about 6... hair and make up at 6:30 or 7 then dressed and pics starting at 8:30

Hi Karen,

I'm thinking like 5:30, 6AM!!! AHHH!!! We have to be ready for pictures by 8 AM. My bridesmaids are going to be mad at me, but what are you going to do! I have curly hair & may get it blown straight, but I'm thinking I may have to do that the day before, I guess we'll see. I still have to figure that all out, but I want to wait to get the dress first before I think about what I'm doing with my hair.

We arent having one... FH's family 99% live upstate... its going to be a chore to get them down here for the wedding let alone an e party. We did have his parents and my parents down here for dinner. It was nice and cozy... no gifts though

This is me in my dress... what kind of accessories should I get?? Ive seen many strapless dresses with little/no accessories (maybe earrings) but thats it. Any ideas?

wow beautiful dress!! I want someone to take one with me in mine. lol
Strapless looks nice with no necklace (but also with) but it accentuates your shoulders more without i think. Earrings!! Maybe a nice bracelet? Mybe a choker type if you get a necklace (i could be wrong )

can i just say i hate the knot??? For looking at pics anyway. I just want to browse the dresses just for fun and its taking forever to go to the next page...

Anywayz... I'll probably be persuaded to wear my hair up because I have a long 'swan like' neck (so my mom says). i have a cap sleeved almost off shoulder dress. Ill try and post em later.

I am so jealous of all of you who have your dress already!!!! I can't find mine, but I know what I want.
So far:
Place, reception and ceremony, pastor, video and photography, think I know which florist, and thats it!!! SO much to do!

well that ALL i've got. I'm sure we can make a quick decision on a hall... just had to wait till tomorrow to talk to dad. Well I guess we have the pastors too, i have enough in my family to choose from, might use my step uncle and have my dad say a little (hes a minister, but i want him to enjoy it, not have to work it). FH just has to find rabbi. ceremony will be in hall so thats one less thing.

I am going dress shopping in 15 mins and just got back from one photographer...
