Im Lindsay and I have been dating my BF for just over 2 years. It was long distance for the first 1.5 years while I was living in Florida going to grad school. We talk about getting and being married all the time. My BF brings up possible grooms men at least once a week. But he just started a new job and claims that things are too crazy right now. And that he doesnt have the money... even though we are using a diamond that my father gave my mother!
I am wedding obsessed and have been lurking for a while, but on the '08 board. Now I realize it probably wont happen by '08 (I know the wedding is going to be BIG and take a long time to plan).
Anyway, Im glad Im out in the open...

Welcome!!! I started looking on this site at the end of June when I knew FH got my setting, just got the ring this weekend!!! I even booked my RH, DJ and photogtrapher beofre he gave it to me, so do all the reasearch you want!!!! The ring will come!
I'm Paula and have been dating my bf for 3 1/2 years. We've been talking about getting engaged for a few months now, but we agreed to wait until I finished grad school and got offered a full time position. Well I graduated in May and got a job offer a month later so I've been pretty antsy ever since. We went looking at rings in July and I showed him what I like. I can't wait to get it and to start planning. I've been reading the boards for a few months now, but I told myself I wouldn't actually join until we were engaged. Obviously that plan didn't work out b/c here I am.
Hi Welcome! I'm Regina I'm 27 and from NY. When my FH and I got engaged we were looking into 2008 however it's expensive to get married. So we are getting married in 2009 at Russo's on the Bay. I'm excited! We've been together for 6 years and one month.
