Re: message in bottle........

Not for invitations, but my best friend asked us to be her bridesmaids by sending us each a message in a bottle. It was really cute except for the fact that mine apparently opened in the mail and there was sand everywhere!!!

Re: message in bottle........

depending on the weight from enclosures, it is about $.37 on up. I did it for my sons welcome to the world party. PS also I am an ex vendor.

Re: message in bottle........

A friend of my mother's sent out invitations in a bottle. It was a 'beach' themed wedding. They had sand and shells in the bottle as well. It cost them $3.00 + to send it because it came in a small box.

Re: message in bottle........

I got one years ago for a bat mitzvah in the mail. And my friend hand delivered them for her wedding in Jamaica to our hotel rooms.

Re: message in bottle........

By the way, the Container Store has some very nice bottles that would work well. They have cork tops and go for $2.50 each I think. You could also check on the web for better prices.
