lol hello my loves!! i actually have work up the butt today!! first time for everything right LOL!!!

i actually have a single gal story for u all..wanna hear?!! :)

ok so we all kno that every1 wanted me to try that online dating stuff..so i signed up for 2 of them both for one month only..

i signed up for hurrydate.com which is less popular as well as match.com:)


so i made my little profile with pics and actually got a lot of responses back to chat with pple, but i m trying to b kinda picky about who i respond to cause of all the loonies out there...so make a long story short..

STORY NUMBER ONE

Ok so i talked to one specific guy from match.com. we exchanged phone numbers cause chatting online was tedious, so i told him to try me after 8 cause i would b home at that time...8:15 he calls (GOOD SIGN) so we chat..we def. clicked sexually cause he kept hinting at sexual stuff which is all nice and all cause in his pic he was a HOTTIE but after talking to him for 10 minutes i was sooo turned off..he was telling me how he met this other girl online and they basically hooked up right away but then dated for 9 months and it was the coolest experience blah blah..i could deal with that altho i dont know why the hell hes telling me about him and some other random chick but then he must have mentioned like 10 times how he hopes he doesnt meet a fat girl online!!! mind u im so thin but geez how shallow can u get, u dont say that!! so long story short hes like oh lets b spontaenous and why dont u come to NJ on saturday by train (i told ihm i dont drive) and go to his house to hangout..when i said i didnt drive i said, oh why dont u come into the city..hes like nah the 1st time u come out here then ill come visit u...he was like annoyed that i wouldnt take the flippin train all the way out there to see a STRANGER!! um do i look stupid to you, i dont care how hot he was, it was just dumb..so whatever he may b a hottie but his cocky attitude was more then annoying..needless to say it was not a match lol..
AS OF TODAY THO I CANCELEd my match.com thing b/c it is just tooo many pple to keep track of, i m gonna keep my other online thing in tact for the rest of the month...

Ahhhhhhhhh you met the 'I seem normal online guy but a freak in person' Yeah they are out there too. Good instincts, Ive talked to a couple of these people too.

I like meeting people in person then taking it from there is there is some chemistry..not the other way around....looks are not #1,,,,but let's be honest you need some attraction and I am so bad if I thought they were nice,,,but no sparks.

Well Michi, welcome to the world of online dating!! You experienced what eveyrone seems to experience when they first start out.

Unfortunately during my brief time online (it was only a few months after I joined that DH contacted me) I was constantly bugged by those 'sexual predators' (as I used to call them ) It does get overwhelming and hard to manage, and when they see a cute girl the emails are crazy and you do get lots of response. But I found that after awhile it got really easy to weed out the bad from the decent/good. It takes practice , actually And after a wave of tons of emails the first week or so, it would die down after awhile.

I also agree that it is TRULY an 'ego boost' when you get constant emails/attention and it helps when you are going thru a slump (not that you are, of course.. you are so cute you don't have a problem meeting men on your own either!!)

Really - men are men no matter where or how you meet 'em But i can honestly say I think i met a 'nicer' bunch of men online overall than I EVER met on my own. Go figure, eh?

yeah there r so many crazzy pple out there its kinda nuts..plus i couldnt keep up with it all on match.com so im sticking to the smaller site..it was fun tho having a lot of emails everyday lol..

so who wants story number 2...??

My FW told me she got MAD emails from people. I also heard this from many other people I met beforehand.
