Mike's sister Called and said Her her hubby and their 4 kids are going to Tennesse or Georgia. They just moved to Boynton Beach. Mikes Brother is in Jupiter and we aren't sure where he is going. Mikes mom and Grandparents are going to the High School for shelter (they are in Boca Raton) and My Brother who is in Deerfield Beach hasn't called. Im not sure what he is doing but it is to late to call him now. Please pray.

most places in FL will feel the effects tonight but it won't officially make landfall until tomorrow.

my DH's aunt and little cousins live in West Palm beach. She called us last night telling us that there were no flights out, everything was booked. She was gonna come here to NY. Then She decided that she was going to pack up the car and drive 7 hours to the next state with 2 kids. She called today saying that it took her almost 7 hrs to get to a location that normally takes 1hr. There was also no gas at any gas stations, and people were being told they could not leave. Can you believe that?? She had to turn around and go back home. She's waiting and sticking it out.

We are watching the news....

They showed boats that got loose from the docks and re drifting down the intercoastal. The reporters can't even stand they are getting Blown away.

My inlaws had to evacuate as well...they live in Jupiter, right on the intracostal...you could throw a stone to the water...I'm sure they'll have major flood damage.

This storm is so slow moving that we will all be on edge until the end of the weekend.
