Leave the registry alone. Don't change a thing. These are the things you want. I would explain to her that the both of you spent alot of time picking out the things you wanted and that you really don't want to change.

Helene I would return it when she gives it to him! Have him tell her HE wants the one on YOUR registry! make sure you have nothing to do with this then she can't blame you(and as we all know it's never their sons fault ) You should see the cake knife and toasting glasses my FSIL got me I think she did it on purpose! They are so cheesy!

Leave it on your registry. When your FI gets it, let HIM tell her that HE wants the one on the registry instead. That should do it!
