when you hold the shoes up to the dress that are nearly identical. My mom is having a hissyfit because she thinks the color is way to dark for a June wedding.
What do I do girls? Do I return the shoes (get them in white) and find a different color for the BM's?? This is making me nuts bc I don't want people to be like wow thats a dark color for June...
I was all excited too that the colors were finally coming together..

My mom doesn't like my color choice either but it's my day so she is going to have to deal with it! I am using purples too. I am hoping to use a lighter color for the dresses but so far we have only found ones we like in dark purples. I am planning on having my flower girls in a lilac and having light colored flowers.
I think if you love it go for it!
btw those shoes are amazing!!! I wish I could wear heels like that!

i had almost the same dilema - i picked a BM dress that im pretty sure is the long version of yours in Lapis and before i decided for sure i was going back and forth with my Mom she really wanted the Sangria color for the dresses. In the end i went with the Lapis, even though my mom and my sisters all said it might look too dark in photos, i love that color and FH loves the color sometimes you just gotta go with your gut
p.s. i may have to steal your idea and get those heels you have if they match Lapis that perfectly!! who makes them?

people do black dresses in the summer so your color is def not too dark and besides that your dresses are short-- nothing says summer more! i say go with it its cute !

Keep the purple....if u love it go for it! Mom will come around and if you want to make her happy put some pretty bright colors in the bouquets but in the end its ur day and vision girl!

Those shoes are amazingggggg!!!
I say keep them if they make you happy! Not everything has to match 100% and plus the two colors kind of compliment eachother.
